Joanna Claire Van Danke is a movie star, supermodel, and the younger twin sister to Jack. Unlike her brother, Joanna has a more vibrant approach when it comes to her skills as a martial artist. With many critics taking shots at Jack more than Joanna, she decides to enter the third Glory to the Gods tournament to challenge her brother.
SPECIAL MOVES:
Inching Kicks: Joanna delivers a series of high kicks while inching towards her opponent.
Tilt Kick: She kicks the opponent in the air while balancing on one leg.
Rising Elbow: Joanna does an elbow uppercut, followed by a spinning back elbow.
Split Punch: She does a split and punches the opponent.
Aegis Attack:
Kicks For Days: Joanna throws two mid kicks at the opponent’s side and goads them to do the same. The opponent throws two kicks at Joanna, leading them to exchange kicks back and forth. The sequence ends with Joanna blocking a kick from the opponent and delivering a kick to the side, a kick to the temple and a spinning heel kick, knocking the opponent out.

(We open on the streets of Brussels.)
Joanna (v/o): This is Brussels, the capital of Belgium. But you already know that if you listened to my brother Jack ramble on about it.
(We cut to a photoshoot as we see Joanna do a series of poses as Disclosure feat Sam Smith’s “Omen” plays in the background.)
Joanna (v/o): The name’s Joanna Claire Van Danke. Try and remember all of that. I’m an actor, supermodel, and yeah, I’m a martial artist. The best female martial artist in the world.
Photographer: That was beautiful, Joanna.
Joanna: I know.
(Cut to another photoshoot of Joanna posing in a black one piece swimsuit.)
Joanna (v/o): Between my brother and I, you can tell that I’m the more outgoing of the two. I got more personality than him and even got more fans than him.
(Cut to Joanna having a sparring session with one of her trainers.)
Joanna (v/o): Even though a lot of critics say that me and my brother are just a bunch of wannabe martial artists and tough people, what the hell do they know about getting their face punched in or getting their chest kicked? They would probably cry like a bunch of babies.
(The sparring session ends as Joanna looks at her phone and records herself.)
Joanna: Hey everyone, this is Joanna Claire Van Danke! I just wrapped another sparring session and I’ve come to tell everyone that I’m going to be at the third Glory to the Gods tournament. I’m also inviting my brother Jack to join me, that is, if he isn’t scared. See you all there.
(After the video, Joanna takes a selfie.)
Joanna (v/o): Here comes Joanna Claire Van Danke!
RIVAL FIGHT: Jack Christopher Van Danke
(Scene takes place in the New Invictus Arena, which resembles a high tech version of the Roman Colosseum with statues of mythological heroes, gods, and angels placed within the colosseum (all covered in gold). The fans cheer awaiting the next fight.)
Announcer (voiced by George Grant): Ladies and Gentlemen, we are live for the finals of the third Glory to the Gods tournament between the famous Van Danke twins, Jack and Joanna!
Jack: You ready for this, Joanna?
Joanna: Ready? Come on, I’ve been ready. Where have you been?
Jack: Kicking tail all throughout the tournament.
Joanna: So have I, but at least I do it in style.
Jack: I’ll show you style and substance.
Joanna: Just bring it already.
SUB-BOSS: Aleister Mordock
(Joanna is declared the winner of the tournament. Arthur Lawrence makes his entrance.)
Arthur: Ah yes, Joanna Claire Van Danke. Congratulations on your victory.
Joanna: What can I say? I’m a natural. Who are you?
Arthur: The name’s Arthur Lawrence. I’m the co-founder of this tournament, and might I add, this is truly a remarkable event.
Joanna: Nice. I’ve heard something about where you fight the winner in previous tournaments. Is that true?
Arthur: About that.
(The golden glow of the arena gives way to macabre blood red hue. A big ring of fire engulfs the top of the colosseum as the statues of the mythological heroes, gods, and angels become statues of demons. A trap door opens as red smoke rises from it and emerges a shadowy figure, who is revealed to be Aleister Mordock.)
Joanna: The hell?
Arthur: I’m not sure.
Aleister: I am the son of the Fallen Deity. A man birthed from blood and agony. I am Aleister Mordock.
Joanna: What’s with this Hot Topic reject over here?
Aleister: You dare insult me?
Joanna: Uh, I did?
Aleister: You will regret doing such a thing.
Joanna: Like I care dude. Besides, you think I care?
Aleister: You will soon enough. Prepare to die.
FINAL BOSS: Seth Mordock
(Aleister falls to the ground as Joanna stands victorious over him.)
Joanna: Word of advice, lose the goth crap and get a tan!
???? Humorous words coming from you.
(A shadowy figure walks through the smoke. The figure is revealed to be Seth Mordock.)
Joanna: Who are you?
Seth: I am Seth Mordock, the Fallen Deity. I see my son Aleister has failed me. I guess I shall be the one to do away with you, whoever you are.
Joanna : The name’s Joanna Claire Van Danke, idiot.
Seth: Do not make light of my superiority, for I am a god.
Joanna: A god? You? Please. I’ve seen dorks who play Dungeons and Dragons come up with better roleplaying identities.
Seth: Continue to mock me where you stand. You won’t last for long.
Joanna: Ooh, I’m scared. What are you going to do?
Seth: Disembowel you from limb to limb!
Joanna: Good luck with that. No, seriously.
Seth: I’ve heard your rebuttal long enough. Prepare to fall at the hands of a god.
ENDING:
(We see Jack fighting against an actor dressed like Seth Mordock for a minute. The fight ends with Jack doing a leaping sidekick attack, knocking out the actor.)
Director: Cut! Print! It’s a wrap!
Jack: Man, that was a great fight.
(Joanna arrives.)
Joanna: Hey, Jack.
Jack: Joanna, what’s good?
Joanna: Not much. Just wanted you to see what a champion looks like.
Jack: You’re no champion, you just got lucky.
Joanna: As if. There’s no luck here, Jack. All skill. Looking for a rematch or something?
Jack: I just finished wrapping up my latest movie.
Joanna: What’s the matter, afraid you’ll lose to your twin baby sister?
Jack: Come on, Joanna.
(Joanna taunts Jack.)
Director: What’s going on here?
Jack: My sister is being usual self. She challenge me to a fight and —
Director: That’s great. We’ll shoot it now.
Jack: But we just wrapped up production.
Director: Yeah, for this movie, but now we’re going to shoot the sequel with your sister in it. Come on!
Jack: Oh brother.
Joanna: You’re telling me.
(The director gets back into his chair.)
Director: Places, everyone!
Jack: *sighs* Guess I have no choice.
Joanna: Damn right you don’t.
Director: Lights, camera, action!
(Jack and Joanna block each other’s punches and kicks as Wu-Tang Clan’s “Bring Da Ruckus” plays in the background. Joanna gets the upper hand, with her sidekicks, but Jack blocks it, followed by throwing a punch and a sweep kick. Joanna kips up and delivers a series of kicks to Jack’s gut, followed by a spinning back kick. Both fighters countered each other’s roundhouse kicks, sweep kicks, and elbow attacks. The sequence ends as both Jack and Joanna knock each out with a punch to the face.)
Director: Cut! Print! That was beautiful. You kids okay?
(Jack and Joanna remained knocked out.)
Director: They’ll be fine.
(The director walks away as Jack and Joanna remain knocked out as the screen cuts to black as we see the logo for Invictus 3. Skyzoo’s “Falling From The Sky” plays in the background as the credits roll and we see illustrations of the characters.)
