El Victorio by Stylistic86

Osmar Valente Hernandez Sr., a.k.a. El Victorioso, suffered yet another loss at the second Glory to the Gods tournament, this time against his son, Hijo Del Victorioso. On top of all that, he lost the Mexican Heavyweight Championship against a young luchador in Silver Mask. With the recent string of losses hindering away at his confidence, El Victorioso begins to question who he is and how could he continue to live up to his moniker. Rather than live with his own shame, El Victorioso rededicated himself back to his craft. After defeating several opponents, El Victorioso announced that not only will he compete in the third Glory to the Gods tournament, but he would also win the whole thing without a scratch.

Arcade Mode:

(We open on a flashback of El Victorioso losing to La Aracnida from the first Glory to the Gods tournament, followed by another flashback of El Victorioso losing to Hijo Del Victorioso in the second Glory to the Gods tournament.)

El Victorioso (v/o): The name El Victorioso means The Victorious. A person who never loses. I never thought that I would find myself losing heavily despite my moniker, but in the last two Glory to the Gods tournament, I lost to not only my estranged daughter, but also my estranged son.

(The flashback ends and we see El Victorioso staring at himself in the mirror in his locker room. He looks down and sees his championship belts, all except the Japanese Heavyweight Championship.)

El Victorioso (v/o): I’m still El Victorioso, but now, with one less championship to wear around my waist.

(A knock on the door interrupts him.)

El Victorioso (v/o): Not now.

Valet (voiced by Lela Loren): Osmar, it’s me.

El Victorioso: Come in.

(El Victorioso’s valet, who is wearing a black business suit with pinstripes, long flowing black hair, heels, and sunglasses, enter El Victorioso’s locker room.)

Valet: The press has been waiting for you some time now.

El Victorioso: Let them wait. I’m still recovering from my last few matches.

Valet: No one told you to go out there and wrestle four opponents in one night.

El Victorioso: But that’s what I did out there. To prove that I am still El Victorioso, and to prove to everyone in the lucha libra world that I am not finished. Not by a long shot.

Valet: Don’t tell that to me, tell that to the press.

(We cut to El Victorioso addressing the media.)

Interviewer #1: El Victorioso, congratulations on defeating four opponents in the ring tonight. Is there a chance that you will face Silver Mask to regain the Mexican Heavyweight Championship?

El Victorioso: I am not sure at the moment, but when the time arises, I shall be ready to take back my title.

Interviewer #2: After winning your previous matches and developing a hot streak as of late, are you staving off retirement?

El Victorioso: I do not wish to think about such a thing at a moment like this.

Interviewer #3: The third Glory to the Gods tournament is coming soon and many are wondering are you going to enter in that tournament?

(El Victorioso pauses for a moment, thinking to himself on his previous losses.)

Valet: My client wishes not to—

El Victorioso: I will enter the tournament. I know I lost my last two outings against my estranged children, but I will assure you that things will be much different. Not only will I win the tournament, but I will not allow another fighter to leave a mark on me, even if it’s my own children.

(The interviewers talk among themselves.)

Valet: Are you sure you want to enter that tournament again?

El Victorioso: I must. I’ve worked tirelessly since those losses, and now it is time for me to gain back my old glory.

RIVAL FIGHT: Hakeem Adebayo

(Scene takes place in the New Invictus Arena, which resembles a high tech version of the Roman Colosseum with statues of mythological heroes, gods, and angels placed within the colosseum (all covered in gold). The fans cheer awaiting the next fight.)

Announcer (voiced by George Grant): Ladies and Gentlemen, we are live for the finals of the third Glory to the Gods tournament between Mexico’s legendary luchador El Victorioso and Nigeria’s Dambe boxing champion, Hakeem Adebayo.

El Victorioso: You seem like a worthy opponent.

Hakeem: Thank you, masked man. I will show you how Dambe will be recognized by the world.

El Victorioso: Dambe? I don’t even know what that is.

Hakeem: Then you are in luck, my friend. Put your fists up and let me show all about it.

El Victorioso: And allow me to show you a thing or two in Lucha Libre!

SUB-BOSS: Aleister Mordock

(El Victorio is declared the winner of the tournament. Arthur Lawrence makes his entrance.)

Arthur: El Victorioso, mi amigo! Well done!

El Victorioso: Arturo, mi carnal. It is always great to see you.

Arthur: You look exceptionally svelte.

El Victorioso: Muchos gracias! I’ve been working out and racking up victories.

Arthur: I am highly impressed.

El Victorioso: Now, do you wish to challenge me?

(The golden glow of the arena gives way to macabre blood red hue. A big ring of fire engulfs the top of the colosseum as the statues of the mythological heroes, gods, and angels become statues of demons. A trap door opens as red smoke rises from it and emerges a shadowy figure, who is revealed to be Aleister Mordock.)

El Victorioso: Now who could this be?

Arthur: I don’t have the slightest clue.

Aleister: I am the son of the Fallen Deity. A man birthed from blood and agony. I am Aleister Mordock.

El Victorioso: Aleister Mordock, huh? Do you know who you are facing?

Aleister: A sacrifice for my father. You will be nothing more than a stain of blood on his hands.

El Victorioso: Whoever your father is, let him fight me instead of you.

Aleister: I’m afraid he sent me to do his bidding. I shall rip off that mask and rip out your organs.

El Victorioso: I like to see you try.

Aleister: I shall and I will. Prepare to die.

FINAL BOSS: Seth Mordock

(Aleister falls to the ground as El Victorioso stands victorious over him.)

El Victorioso: Fool! That is what you get for facing the likes of me.

????: Now prepare to face your worst nightmare.

(A shadowy figure walks through the smoke. The figure is revealed to be Seth Mordock.)

El Victorioso: Seth Mordock.

Seth: The Fallen Deity in the flesh. I see my son Aleister has failed me. I guess I shall be the one to do away with you.

El Victorioso: Try as you might, but you will not be able to.

Seth: Recognize who you are addressing. I am a god among mortals such as yourself. Do you even think that you are even capable of defeating me, when you can’t even defeat your own kin?

El Victorioso: I’ve rededicated myself to who I once was and I will not allow the past to falter me.

Seth: Such words could only carry you so far, but they will carry you to your final resting place. Prepare to fall at the hands of a god.

ENDING:

(We see El Victorioso wrestling against an opponent for a minute. The match ends as El Victorio delivers an elbow drop from the top rope and pins his opponent.)

Referee: 1, 2, 3.

Announcer: Your winner, El Victorioso!

(The crowd cheers as El Victorioso’s hand is raised in victory. El Victorioso asks for a microphone as the announcer gives it to him.)

El Victorioso: Sí…sí sí sí sí sí. It feels great to continue on my newfound winning streak. Not only have I defeated those who were foolish enough to compete against me for my championship titles, but I’ve also won the third Glory to the Gods tournament!

(We then see the valet and two bikini models carrying a large gold trophy with four angel statues holding a sword and shield and a globe on top of them. The trophy is placed in the middle of the ring where El Victorioso is standing.)

El Victorioso: Look at how beautiful and how splendid this trophy looks. This is the ultimate culmination of all my hard work and all my achievements. But I am not satisfied with just this. There are three people that I wish to challenge. Mi hijo, mi hija La Aracnida, y Silver Mask!

(The crowd cheers wildly at El Victorioso’s bold challenge. Moments later, VLP’s Mexico plays in the background as Silver Mask makes his entrance while carrying the Mexican Heavyweight Championship.)

Silver Mask (voiced by Daniel Southworth): El Victorioso, I knew you would return a challenge towards me. Let me be the first to congratulate you on winning the third Glory to the Gods tournament.

(Silver Mask and El Victorioso shake hands as the crowd applauds, but El Victorioso draws Silver Mask towards him.)

Silver Mask: I know you want my Mexican Heavyweight Championship belt, but since you also challenged your hijo and hija, why don’t you face them in a number one contender’s match first.

(Moments later, Delinquent Habits’ “Western Ways” plays in the background as Hijo Del Victorioso and La Aracnida make their way to the ring and confront both Silver Mask and El Victorioso.)

La Aracnida: A number one contender’s match for the Mexican Heavyweight Championship? Are you out of your mind? I rather mi hermano y yo challenge you, along with our padre for that title in a fatal four way. What do you say?

Hijo: Come on Silver Mask, what do you say?

Silver Mask: You know what? Why not. It’ll be my honor to face off against the Victorioso dinastia!

El Victorio: And it will also be my honor to finally regain my status as El Campeon de Mexico!

(The crowd cheers as El Victorioso smirks at Silver Mask, La Aracnida, and Hijo Del Victorio for a few seconds, followed by glaring at them and doing a title belt gesture as the screen cuts to black as we see the logo for Invictus 3. Skyzoo’s “Falling From The Sky” plays in the background as the credits roll and we see illustrations of the characters.)

Happy Father's Day one and all! It's time to introduce one of the most legendary luchadors of all Mexico and the father of Hijo Del Victorioso, La Aracnida, Diana "Shock" Moreno, Raúl Nakayama, and a few others still out there...El Victorioso! El Victorioso is back and is ready to not only win the third Glory to the Gods tournament, but to also reclaim his spot as not only the Mexican Heavyweight Champion, but also to be the king of the lucha libre community once again.
