Lord of the Underground 2: Pierre Geroux

Pierre Geroux is a underground pit fighter from France, who fights to do whatever he can to earn money for his family. He's quite a popular fighter in the french circuit but wants to leave that all behind him so that he can live an honest life and to fight professionally. He hears of a fighting tournament in America known as Lord of the Underground and decides to enter in the hopes of giving his family a new start. 

GAMEPLAY INFO:

Sideways: Pierre throws a sidekick at the opponent's shin and a super kick at the opponent's jaw. 

Running Punch: Pierre runs at his opponent and punches them in the face as he emits blue energy from his fist.

Deflect and Attack: He blocks an opponent's attack and fires blue energy at them.

Spear Roll: He spears the opponent and rolls them around on the floor. 

X-Ray Move:

Obsidian Fists: Pierre punches the opponent in the jaw, breaking it, and follows it up with a hook to the sternum. 

Fatal Blow:
Three Kicks of Doom: Pierre kicks the opponent in the sternum, then in the face, and follows it up with a jumping heel kick that decapitates the opponent. 

Coup de grace: Pierre trips the opponent and punches them in the groin (if male) or gut (if female) and rips out their intestines.

Intro Sequence: Pierre hops around a bit and says "Let's make this interesting!" as he gets into his fighting stance.

Outro Sequence: Pierre throws three punches and finishes the sequence with a spinning heel kick. He then says "Try harder next time."

ARCADE MODE:

Intro:

(We open on a underground fight happening in an abandoned lot as IAM's L'ecole Du Micro D'Argent plays in the background.)

Pierre (v/o): You may ask yourself, why do I fight? Why am I putting myself in this type of harm? It's because I have to. It's because I have to make sure my family doesn't starve.

(During the fight, we see Pierre blocking an attack, and catching his opponent with an uppercut, which sends him flying to the concrete floor. The crowd cheers in unison, some hugging Pierre and patting him on the back.)

Pierre (v/o): My name is Pierre Geroux. I'm a underground pit fighter and I only want to win so that I can provide for my family. It's hard when the only skill you have is utilizing your fists, but then again, you can say that I'm a hands on kind of guy. 

(The fight promoter walks up to Pierre and gives him 500 francs.)

Promoter: Well done, Pierre. Keep this up, and I might give you a chance to fight legit. 

Pierre: Thanks. I really needed that money. I could really use some more though.

Promoter: Hey, don't be greedy. Just because you're a popular fighter here doesn't mean I'm an ATM

Pierre: But I have a wife and son to take care of. 

Promoter: Fine, here's some more extra money. 

Pierre: Merci. 

Promoter: No problem. Now head home to your wife and son. 

(We then see Pierre, now wearing a jacket and hoodie, as he walks the rainy streets of Paris.)

Pierre (v/o): I have a wife and son that I need to provide for, but fighting is all I know. My wife begs me to get a job or become a legit fighter, but I feel as though I can win more money in the underground circuit.

(Pierre sees a flyer for the Lord of the Underground tournament.)

Pierre (v/o): What's this? An invitation for some fighting tournament in America? Whatever it is. I want in, and hopefully, win some big money. 

Stage 4 Rival: Sandra Harris

(Scene takes place in Atlanta. Sandra is heading for her motorcycle when she spots Pierre looking at it.)

Sandra: Mind if I…help you? 

Pierre: I'm sorry, I was just looking at your motorcycle. I kinda like it.

Sandra: Thanks, but I got to get going. 

Pierre: Why is there blood on your gloves?

Sandra: Stop asking me questions, I got to go. 

(Pierre gets in front of Sandra.)

Sandra: What is your problem? 

Pierre: I think you need to see a doctor.

Sandra: I think you need your ass kicked! 

Pierre: Fine. Have it your way! 

Cutscene: 

Sandra: Ow! Dammit! 

Pierre: I warned you.

Sandra: Please, help me!

Pierre: I have to be going. 

(Police sirens blare as Pierre is about to leave, but then looks at Sandra.)

Pierre: Fine, but only this once. 

(Pierre hides Sandra and himself as the police cars whiz past them.)

Sandra: That was close. How about a rematch? 

Pierre: I think you should heal yourself before you ask for a rematch. 

(Pierre leaves as Sandra goes to retrieve her motorcycle.)

Rival Fight: Rafael Santos

(Scene takes place in Osiris' Underground Arena and Casino. The DJ announces the next fight.)

DJ: Okay everyone, we got ourselves a bare knuckle showdown, so place your bets now! We got Underground french fighter Pierre Geroux taking on MMA prodigy from the Philippines, Rafael Santos!

Pierre: An MMA prodigy, huh? This should be interesting.

Rafael: I never fought an underground pit fighter before, so this has to be a challenge for me.

Pierre: I can say the same for you. Come at me! 

Final Boss: Osiris

(After defeating Rafael, Pierre is declared the winner.)

Pierre: You're one hell of a fighter. 

(Lucas is then approached by Osiris' secretary, a slender African American female wearing a business suit and shades.)

Secretary: Monsieur Geroux..?

Pierre: Oui..?

Secretary: He's ready to see you. 

(We then see Pierre entering Osiris' office, which is now a square office with stylish blue and black interior, a liquor bar, pool table, and a new view of the New York Skyline in the background. The room is now dimly lit, but the desk where Osiris sits at is still dark, concealing him. Osiris puffs smoke before talking.)

Osiris: Bonjour.

Pierre: Bonjour to you as well. I heard you were the one running this tournament.

Osiris: That I am. And I see you've made it a hell of a long way to get to this point.

Pierre: I have. 

Osiris: So you should also know by now that I'm not giving you jack shit without having to fight for it, right?

Pierre: You mean I'm suppose to fight you?

(Osiris emerges from the darkness, cigar in hand.)

Osiris: Yes..!

Pierre: I want to see what you're capable of.

Osiris: You will soon enough!

(Osiris gets up from his seat, pushing his desk aside. He cracks his knuckles, preparing to fight.)

Osiris: Business time starts now!

Ending:

(We see Pierre heading home as he is greeted by his son and wife.)

Pierre's son: Daddy! Daddy!

Pierre: How's my boy?

Pierre's son: Good! Mommy's waiting for you!

Pierre's wife (voiced by Kimberly Brooks): Pierre, I'm glad you're not hurt. Where have you been?

Pierre: I was in a fighting tournament in America and I won. 

Pierre's wife: Pierre?

Pierre: No, believe me, look.

(Pierre digs in his suitcase and pulls out the prize money for his wife. )

Pierre's wife: Oh my goodness! Pierre, we're rich!

Pierre: Yes. And now, we can live a better life. 

Pierre's wife: What about your fighting? Are you going to give that up?

Pierre: No. 

Pierre's wife: Pierre! 

Pierre: I'm thinking about opening up my own gym, so that I can train other fighters. 

Pierre's wife: Oh, Pierre.

(Pierre and his family hug as the screen goes black. We then see the logo for Lord of the Underground 2 as Lord of the Underground's Chief Rocka (Jazzy Underground Remix) plays in the background. The credits roll as we see the characters in their stages.)
