Lord of the Underground 2: Han Hyojin

Han Hyojin is one of North Korea's most celebrated soldiers. Known for his expertise in stealth and precise attacking skill, he entered the underground tournament to test himself against some of the ruthless fighters in the world. His mission was to steal information from a crime boss known as Osiris, but he was spotted by Ryan Andrews and Alexandra Stevenson, who wanted to bring him down. With the help of the mysterious Asha Kali, Han managed to escape empty handed. Months later, Han receives word from his superior that another underground tournament was happening again. This time, his mission was to eliminate Ryan Andrews and Alexandra Stevenson, along with Osiris. 

GAMEPLAY INFO:

Poison Fist: Han punches the opponent in the gut, causing them to spew blood.

Street Sweeper: Han sweeps the opponent's leg and breaks the other. 

Reverse Headlock: He rolls behind the opponent and places them in a reverse headlock, snapping their neck a little.

Hap Ki Do Throw: He performs a Hap Ki Do Throw 

X-Ray Move:

Korean Chiropractor: Han grabs his opponent's arm and dislocates their elbow. He then delivers a hard chop to their neck, followed by a swift kick to the sternum. 

Fatal Blow:

Friendly Fire: Han places lighter fluid in his mouth. He then takes out a lighter, walks to the opponent and spits the liquid to the fire which causes flames to emerges as the opponent's face is burned off. 

Drone Missile: Han presses a button and runs off screen as we hear a whistling sound from a drone that explodes when it hits the ground, killing the opponent.

Intro Sequence: Han is listening to his superior on the phone. He nods and places the phone in his pocket. He then points to his opponent and does a slit throat gesture as he gets into his fighting stance. 

Outro Sequence: Han looks down at the opponent and kicks them a little to see if they are conscious, to which they are not. Han scoffs and walks off screen.

ARCADE MODE:

Intro:

(We are shown footage of Han Hyojin training several soldiers in Hap Ki Do as traditional Korean music plays in the background. )

Narrator (voiced by Liam O'Brien): This man is known as Han Hyojin. He is a North Korean Special Forces soldier, and is considered a deadly individual. He is also a master of the fighting style, Hap Ki Do.

(We cut to footage of Han demonstrating his shooting abilities.)

Narrator (v/o): In addition to mastering the art of Hap Ki Do, he is a deft shooter. Never missing a target, even if it is more than 100 feet away. 

(Cut to footage of Han Hyojin competing in the last tournament.)

Narrator (v/o): Recently, Han was spotted in a underground fighting tournament in America. From what we know, he could've been invited there or he was sent as a representative of North Korea. But what we do know was that he was sent to collect data from a crime lord called Osiris. 

(We are then shown headshots of Ryan Andrews and Alexandra Stevenson. Followed by a few pictures of Asha Kali.)

Narrator (v/o): His plans were foiled when he was found out by CIA operative Ryan Andrews and FBI agent Alexandra Stevenson. Both Andrews and Stevenson were at the tournament and fought against each other to a draw, but they teamed up to stop Han. They tracked him to North Korea and were close to apprehending him, but were defeated by a mysterious woman known as Asha Kali.  

(We are then shown a photo of Han. )

Narrator (v/o): Recently, Han has been given orders to compete in the Lord of the Underground tournament. Word has it that he may be entering the tournament to eliminate both Ryan Andrews and Alexandra Stevenson along with Osiris. 

 
Stage 4 Rival: Asha Kali

(Scene takes place in New Delhi. We see Han walking the streets at night, until he looks up and spots Asha running from rooftop and landing right in front of him.)

Asha: Han Hyojin I presume. 

Han: That is who I am. And you are?

Asha: I see you don't remember me from our brief time in North Korea. I am Asha Kali. Assassin for the Children of Indra. You should thank me for assisting you against your enemies. 

Han: I didn't need your help. 

Asha: But that FBI agent was close to killing you, was she not? 

Han: I don't have time for your games. Leave now! 

Asha: Then I guess I will have to use other means to make you say thank you. 

Cutscene:  

(Han hoists Asha off the ground by her throat, staring menacingly into her eyes.)

Han: As I said before, I didn't need your help. I am a Special Forces soldier for North Korea, and I will complete my mission no matter what. 

(Han releases his grasp and continues on his way.)

Rival Fight: Ryan Andrews

(Scene takes place in Osiris' Underground Arena and Casino. The DJ announces the next fight.)

DJ: Tonight, we got ourselves a battle of epic proportions. It's U.S.A. vs. North Korea Part 2! Representing the Red, White, and Blue, y'all welcome Ryan Andrews! His opponent, from North Korea, we have Han Hyojin! 

Han: We meet again, Mr. Andrews. 

Ryan: It's time I put you away for good. 

Han: I believe that won't be happening. 

Ryan: Don't make predictions that you don't know the outcome of. 

Final Boss: Osiris

(After defeating Ryan, Han is declared the winner.)

Han: You have failed again, Mr. Andrews.

(Han is then approached by Osiris' secretary, a slender African American female wearing a business suit and shades.)

Secretary: Mr. Han..?

Han:...

Secretary: He's ready to see you. 

(We then see Han entering Osiris' office, which is now a square office with stylish blue and black interior, a liquor bar, pool table, and a new view of the New York Skyline in the background. The room is now dimly lit, but the desk where Osiris sits at is still dark, concealing him. Osiris puffs smoke before talking.)

Osiris: Mr. Han.

Han: Do you know why I am here?

Osiris: No, but why are you here?

Han: I've come to eliminate you for you have stolen data that belongs to North Korea.

Osiris: North Korea? Really?

Han: You will pay dearly for stealing from us. 

Osiris: Is that right. Well, listen to this..

(Osiris emerges from the darkness, cigar in hand.)

Osiris: Whatever I see, I take.

Han: Then I see no choice then to take your life! 

Osiris: Try as you may, but you won't be successful. 

(Osiris gets up from his seat, pushing his desk aside. He cracks his knuckles, preparing to fight.)

Osiris: Business time starts now!

Ending:

(We see footage of Han arriving back in North Korea, being greeted by several officials.)

Narrator (v/o): Han Hyojin was successful in exterminating the man known as Osiris. 

(We then cut to footage of Han receiving a medal of sort.)

Narrator: Han's bravery and loyalty to his country has made him more than a hero. He would become a iconic figure. 

(We then see a parade being held in Han's honor.)

Narrator: He was then honored with a parade that lasted 8 hours. Some of have said that Han has retired from military life. Some even say that he now rules the entire criminal underworld.

(We then see Han working with several gangsters in Pyongyang. They look at a blueprint to run the city for themselves. Han smiles deviously at the paper as the screen cuts to black. We then see the logo for Lord of the Underground 2 as Lord of the Underground's Chief Rocka (Jazzy Underground Remix) plays in the background. The credits roll as we see the characters in their stages.)
